Village International is a non-profit organization that supports young children and women in vulnerable communities in Namibia, Kenya, and Angola. Since 2018 they’ve been working on their mission and making a difference.

They say “At Village International, wellbeing is at the forefront of what we’re working together towards. Our programs and activities are designed to be a catalyst that helps community members reach their goals and fulfill their potential.”

With the help of partners, donors, and volunteers their goal is to create long-term, sustainable food security and to empower women and girls through access to education and  sustainable menstrual care

Their initiatives:

Let’s Eat Project
Black Lives Matter Initiative
Let’s Talk – Period Project
Let’s Learn – School Supplies Project

Amy’s friend started this wonderful organization and we are happy to do anything we can to help promote them so more people can get involved and support these very important causes.

The Let’s Talk Period Project is one that is particularly important to us. Girls who don’t have access to sanitary pads end up missing up to a couple of weeks of school each month when they have their period. It’s hard to believe and it’s also shocking to me how unaware I was of these issues.

Our hope is that people will learn and maybe feel called to help out in some way.
